The Bride
Britt grew up in Baltimore and is a lifelong Ravens and Orioles fan. After graduate school in Washington, D.C., she moved to Manhattan in the summer of 2013 (five months after Michael) and built a career in marketing, most recently at IBM. She can usually be found biking through Prospect Park (where she and Michael first met), cooking a Julia Child recipe, or caring for rescue animals with Park Slope Pals, her new business.
The Groom
Michael, a Chicago native, moved to Brooklyn after college in upstate New York to pursue a career in software engineering. Self-taught, he learned to code in the catwalks of Steppenwolf Theatre, where he had been working in lighting design. In his free time, he enjoys analog photography, baking bread and kołaczki (a traditional Polish dessert — a nod to his heritage), and training for the New York City Marathon.
